Plan B One-Step is an emergency contraceptive with excessive packaging. With the medicine now stored in lock boxes accessible to store employees or pharmacists, the packaging can be redesigned. I propose condensing the packaging and utilizing recyclable materials such as recycled paper, compostable plastic, and soy ink.

Since most drugstores now employ shelf locks to prevent theft, there is no longer a need for an outer plastic cover. The box's purpose is solely to store multiple sleeves during transportation. Each consumer will receive a single sleeve instead of three layers of packaging. Scroll down to see more!
